"Repent and be baptized,
every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your
sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
After the Holy Spirit comes, Peter's addresses:
AC 2:36 "Therefore let all Israel
be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord
and Christ." AC 2:37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the
heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall
we do?"
AC 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent
and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness
of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. [39] The promise is for you and your children and
for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call."
[*Note: Abimelech=The Father is King; JESUS is LORD
of LORDS, King of Kings]
JDG 9:1 Abimelech son of Jerub-Baal
went to his mother's brothers in Shechem and said to them and to all his
mother's clan, [2] "Ask all the citizens of Shechem, `Which is better
for you: to have all seventy of Jerub-Baal's sons rule over you, or just
one man?' Remember, I am your flesh and blood."
JDG 9:3 When the brothers repeated all this to the citizens of Shechem,
they were inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, "He is our brother."
[4] They gave him seventy shekels of silver from the temple of Baal-Berith,
and Abimelech used it to hire reckless adventurers, who became his followers.
[5] He went to his father's home in Ophrah and on one stone murdered his
seventy brothers, the sons of Jerub-Baal. But Jotham, the youngest son of
Jerub-Baal, escaped by hiding. [6] Then all
the citizens of Shechem and Beth Millo gathered beside the great tree at
the pillar in Shechem to crown Abimelech king.

ECC 7:1 A good name is better than
fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth. ECC 7:2
It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting,
for death is the destiny of every man; the living should take this to heart.
ECC 7:3 Sorrow is better than laughter, because a sad face is good for the
heart. ECC 7:4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the
heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.
(DEUTERONOMY 8:1-10,17,18)
DT 8:1 Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that
you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land that the LORD
promised on oath to your forefathers. [2] Remember how the LORD your God
led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to
test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would
keep his commands. [3] He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding
you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you
that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from
the mouth of the LORD. [4] Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did
not swell during these forty years. [5] Know then in your heart that as
a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your God disciplines you.
DT 8:6 Observe the commands of the LORD your God, walking in his ways and
revering him. [7] For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land--a
land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys
and hills; [8] a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates,
olive oil and honey; [9] a land where bread will not be scarce and you will
lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out
of the hills.

DT 8:10 When you have eaten and are
satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you.
DT 8:17 You may say to yourself, "My
power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me." [18]
But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to
produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers,
as it is today.
JESUS is the Way (Jn 14:6) He is Love (1 CO 13:4) He
is patient.
In Revelations 3:19-21 He says:
REV 3:19 "Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest,
and repent. [20] Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears
my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. REV 3:21 To
him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just
as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne."
"Receive the Holy Spirit."(Acts 2:38)
