[MK 5:1-15] They went across the lake to the
region of the Gerasenes. When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an evil
spirit came from the tombs to meet him. This man lived in the tombs, and
no one could bind him any more, not even with a chain. For he had often
been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons
on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him. Night and day among
the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones.
When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front
of him. He shouted at the top of his voice, "What do you want with
me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Swear to God that you won't torture
me!" For Jesus had said to him, "Come out of this man, you evil
spirit!"
Then Jesus asked him, "What is your name?"
"My name is Legion," he replied, "for we are many."
And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.
A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside. The demons begged
Jesus, "Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them." He
gave them permission, and the evil spirits came out and went into the pigs.
The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into
the lake and were drowned.
Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside,
and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus,
they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting
there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
[LK 8:36] Those who had seen it told the people how the demon-possessed
man had been cured.
[LK 8:38,39] The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with
him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, "Return home and tell how much
God has done for you." So the man went away and told all over town
how much Jesus had done for him.
TODAY's Note:
Do not blame others for your situation; do not ask for the problems, (demons)
in your life, to go into another man/human. Ask the Lord to send them away.

[MIC 6:8] He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD
require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with
your God.
[LK 17:3] So watch yourselves.
"If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.
[4] If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back
to you and says, `I repent,' forgive him."
[JAS 5:16] Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other
so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and
effective.
[ZEC 7:9] "This is what the LORD Almighty says: `Administer true justice;
show mercy and compassion to one another. [10] Do not oppress the widow
or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your hearts do not think evil
of each other.'

Rejoice in the Lord always. : I will say it
again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ
Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever
is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever
is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such
things.LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you
and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.
