(Act 5:42 Never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that
JESUS is the Christ
(1JN 5:1) Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God
"Is Your
all on the Altar?"
LK 2:8 And there were shepherds living out
in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. [9] An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of
the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. [10] But the angel said to
them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be
for all the people. [11] Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to
you; he is Christ the Lord. [12] This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby
wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
LK 2:13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel,
praising God and saying,
LK 2:14 "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom
his favor rests."
LK 2:15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said
to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has
happened, which the Lord has told us about."
LK 2:16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was
lying in the manger. [17] When they had seen him, they spread the word
concerning what had been told them about this child, [18] and all who heard it
were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. [19] But Mary treasured up all
these things and pondered them in her heart. [20] The shepherds returned,
glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which
were just as they had been told.
JN 7:37 On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood
and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is
thirsty, let him come to me and drink. [38] Whoever believes in me, as the
Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."
[39] By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to
receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet
been glorified.
JN 7:40 On hearing his words, some of the people said, "Surely this man is
the Prophet." JN 7:41 Others said, "He is the Christ."
MT 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked
his disciples, "Who do people say the Son
of Man is?"
MT 16:14 They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and
still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
MT 16:15 "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I
am?"
MT 16:16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living
God."
MT 16:17 Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was
not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. [18] And I tell you
that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of
Hades will not overcome it. [19] I will give you the keys of the kingdom of
heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you
loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
After the Resurrection
[JN 20:24] Now
Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when
Jesus came. [25] So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the
Lord!"
But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my
finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe
it."
JN 20:26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was
with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and
said, "Peace be with you!" [27] Then he said to Thomas, "Put
your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side.
Stop doubting and believe."
JN 20:28 Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
JN 20:29 Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed;
blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
JN 20:30 Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his
disciples, which are not recorded in this book. [31] But these are written that
you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing
you may have life in his name.
[RO 10:9] That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
1JN 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. [2] This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. [3] This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,
JN 14:15
"If you love me, you will obey what I command. [16] And I will ask the
Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-- [17]
the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him
nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
[1JN 5:4] for
everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome
the world, even our faith. [5] Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who
believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
[1JN 5:9] We accept
man's testimony, but God's testimony is greater because it is the testimony of
God, which he has given about his Son. [10] Anyone who believes in the Son of
God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made
him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given
about his Son. [11] And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son. [12] He who has the Son has life; he who does not
have the Son of God does not have life.
[1JN 5:13] I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of
God so that you may know that you have eternal life. [14] This is the
confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his
will, he hears us. [15] And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we
know that we have what we asked of him.
"My Hope is built on nothing less"
AC 17:24 "The God who
made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does
not live in temples built by hands. [25] And he is not served by human hands,
as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and
everything else. [26] From one man he made every nation of men, that they
should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and
the exact places where they should live. [27] God did this so that men would
seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from
each one of us. [28] `For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some
of your own poets have said, `We are his offspring.'
AC 17:29 "Therefore since we are God's offspring, we should not think that
the divine being is like gold or silver or stone--an image made by man's design
and skill. [30] In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands
all people everywhere to repent. [31] For he has set a day when he will judge
the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this
to all men by raising him from the dead."
1JN 2:18 Dear
children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is
coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last
hour. [19] They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if
they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going
showed that none of them belonged to us.
1JN 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the
truth. [21] I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but
because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. [22] Who is the
liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the
antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son. [23] No one who denies the Son
has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
1JN 2:24 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it
does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. [25] And this is what
he promised us--even eternal life.
1JN 2:26 I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead
you astray. [27] As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in
you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you
about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit--just as it has
taught you, remain in him.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again:
Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be
anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which
transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ
Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever
is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is
admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such
things.LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and
be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.
